At first the riding habit was the outfit to wear for active sport but increasingly it became fashionable for traveling and informal outdoor leisurewear. This pattern includes a Riding habit jacket, waistcoat and petticoat directions. Tailored jacket with separate wasistcoat was popular for riding as well as traveling.
