RC1313- 1930s One-Piece Afternoon Dress Pattern. Based on an original pattern from the mid-1930s, this elegant afternoon dress is appropriate for the theatre or an important tea date or bridge. It has a cowl neckline, unusual sleeves, and inverted pleat at center back of blouse and skirt. It's easy-to-make and lovely. All sizes (busts 28" to 48") come in the same envelope. Also included are assembly instructions, embellishment suggestions, and the extensive historical notes. Fabric Suggestions: silk crepe, wool lace, matelasse, satin, and other dress weights. Notions: snaps, buttons, hooks and eyes, purchased belt. Yardage: 4 yards 54" wide.
