Full size paper pattern for early 18th century wrapping gowns, the Robe Battante and the shorter Casaque based on extant garments and pictorial examples. These gowns are predecessor of the Sacque or Robe Francais, the Robe Battante. Our pattern is based on extant and pictorial examples. Included are the early wrappers know as robe battante or robe volante, as well as the jacket-length version, the Casaque.
Fits busts 30 1/2"- 48" and waists 23"-41". All sizes included in one envelope. Embellishment suggestions included.
