YT004 - Shawnee Moc Pattern. Authentic Shawnee Moc sized Small - Large. A very handsome and popular knee high moc!. Four styles with heavy-wear exterior soles in slip on styling. Looser chimney is comfortable alone or over jeans. Attractive addition to fringed buckskin dresses or western wear. Style A has functional lacing up front and drawstring at top, long fringe down both sides of a center panel. Style B has no fringe or top drawstring, a more basic working look. Style C has fringe but only a top drawstring that does not cross the front center panel and the front is inset to hold beadwork. Style D has no fringe and only a top drawstring. The panel is again inset but fitted with fur. Indian Wars, Wild West, SASS, Mountain Man, Buring Man, Rendezvous, Fur Trade Era, PowWow and Pow Wow, Pow Wow living history events. Pow-wow (also powwow or pow wow ) is a gathering of North America's Native people. The word derives from the Narragansett word powwaw, meaning "spiritual leader". A modern pow-wow is a specific type of event where both Native American and non-Native American people meet to dance, sing, socialize, and honor American Indian culture. There is generally a dancing competition, often with significant prize money awarded. Pow-wows vary in length from one day session of 5 to 6 hours to three days. Major pow-wows or pow-wows called for a special occasion can be up to one week long.
