This pattern is derived from Nancy Bradfield's Costume in Detail, 1760-1775 and the right-hand view is based on Costume Close-Up by Linda Baumgarten & John Watson, dated 1775-1785. This pattern is historically accurate; designed and produced by a tailor with 20 years experience and trained in period clothing and construction. This pattern is designed to fit the 21st century body of modern re-enactors, dancers and historians, yet give a historically accurate look.
