AG1115 - 1891 Peau de Soie Reception Dress Pattern. 40" Bust - 26" Waist. The model illustrated was of changeable pink and gray Peau de Soie. It is made with a demi-trained skirt and a coat bodice opening on a pleated vest of pale blue crape. The foundation skirt was of lining silk and edged with knife pleating at the bottom. The front and back edges of the coat are embroidered in gold thread, silk, and chenille, forming large scallops, underneath which a frill of lace is set. Pattern consists of plastron, jacket, skirt and foundation skirt. Yardage - Approx 16-½ yds 45" wide.
