AG1555 - 1868 Ladies Overshoe Pattern. One Size. This overshoe, which is designed to be worn over the gaiter, is of black cloth, with a scarlet top. The top part is stitched along the outside edge with black silk in small diamonds; the lower corners are ornamented with black silk tassels. Jet buttons and buttonholes to correspond are used for fastening. Yardage - Approx 1 yd 36" wide. Excellent for Victorian, Turn of the Century or Wild West and SASS fashions. Ageless Patterns (AG) is an original from the era including original sewing instructions which assume some sewing knowledge, which would have been typical for the era indicated.
