PAC993 - 1896 Dorcas Apron Pattern. Size: Medium. This Demorest pattern was published by the Demorest Publishing Company. It is described as a practical design, so simple that it is easily made; and so useful for any kind of work as it protects almost all of the dress. There are but two seams in the pattern and the pockets should be placed on the side breadths before the seams are sewed. The edges are simply finished with a bias band stitched on or hemmed. Written instructions only. Pattern dated 1896. Suggested Fabrics: Gingham, Denim and brown Holland are the popular materials. Materials Required: 4-1/2 Yds. 24" (yes, 24") wide fabric. Excellent for Victorian, Turn of the Century or Wild West and SASS fashions.
