These items appeared in popular ladies½ magazines from 1858 to 1864. This book includes patterns and instructions for a corset bag (including an embroidery pattern to decorate it), crocheted toilet sachet (to hold pins, soap, tooth powder, ribbons and laces, combs, brushes), lady's toilet sachet, sachet of comb and brush, knitted boa with tassel instructions, travelling reticule, lady's anklet (for garment protection during inclement weather), lady's fashionable work-bag, large lady's travelling bag, and card-case.
