Misses' Two-Piece Suit Dress: Circa 1943. Size: 36" bust, 30" waist, 39" hips. This pattern was published by The Butterick Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Misses' Two-Piece Suit Dress. The youthful suit dress you can count on to look trim and smart day after day. Its button-front jacket blouse has a revers collar or cardigan neckline; button detail carried to shoulder in second style. Inverted pleat at front of skirt; three gore back." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1943. Suggested fabrics: Rayon, velvet, velveteen, corduroy, wool and cotton. The colors were forest green, sunset red, navy, pecan beige, Copenhagen blue, clove brown, and emerald green. Materials required: Dress: 4 Yds. 36" fabric.
